About Us

Annemarie is currently the Executive Head Teacher of Humberstone Infant Academy and Humberstone Junior Academy, where she has been Headteacher/ Executive Head Teacher for 13 years. She is an experienced and confident NLE who has demonstrated a commitment and a passion for education and the fundamental role it plays in the future lives and success of children. Annemarie is passionate about the teaching of English and has a Masters Degree in Childrens's Literature. She has consistently chosen to teach and lead schools in challenging circumstances over a 23 year career in Leicester City Schools.

Megan Ellis is currently Assistant Head at Humberstone Infant and Junior Academy where she leads Teaching and Learning and is the currator of professional learning. Meg has 10 years of clasroom and leadership experience in both key stage 1 and 2 and is currently a practising and passionate year 6 teacher. She is an expereinced SLE with amany years of school to school support and school improvment expereince. Meg has a particular interest in inclusive eduaction with a masters degree in Special Educational Needs.
